 Thanks for joining the Pride of Indy Concert Band & Pride of Indy Jazz Ensemble as we performed at the historic firehouse at Massachusetts Avenue & College. We had wonderful weather, and surely a good time was had by all. What a way to celebrate Pride week!

Indiana AIDS Walk
Saturday, October 8, featured three Pride of Indy groups at the Indiana AIDS Walk- the Visual Ensemble, the Pep Band, and the Jazz Ensemble with Brenda Williams. It's our honor to again be invited to this annual event. For more information on Indiana AIDS walk, visit www.indianaaidswalk.org.
DCI "Celebrate Indy Arts!" Parade
Pride of Indy Bands partnered with iNDYfRINGE, The Indianapolis Men's Chorus, and Indianapolis Women's Chorus August 13 as we marched with an artistic flair in the Drum Corps International "Celebrate Indy Arts!" parade as a kazoo band! It was great to join together to celebrate!
Garfield Park welcomes Pride of Indy Bands
Indy Parks welcomed the Pride of Indy Concert Band & Jazz Ensemble to Garfield Park on July 28 as part of their Summer Concert Series. A jazzy "Battle Hymn of the Republic" by the Jazz Ensemble transitioned into an array of Civil War themed music from the Concert Band, including "Tara Theme" from "Gone with the Wind", "Gettysburg" from the motion picture "Gettysburg", and Robert W. Smith's "The Great Locomotive Chase". We also played several medleys of classic Civil War tunes that included "Marching Through Georgia", "Tenting Tonight", "Yellow Rose of Texas", and "Dixie".
It's an honor to be invited by the City of Indianapolis to play for this event, and we look forward to being part of their 2012 Summer Concert Series.

2011 Pride

Spotlight 2011
Thanks for joining the Pride of Indy Jazz Ensemble along with other area performers on May 2 at Clowes Hall of Butler University for Spotlight 2011 as they came together for one reason - to raise money for HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and testing programs across Indiana.
English 101
The Pride of Indy Concert Band performed their "English 101" concert March 20 at Indianapolis's Arsenal Technical High School's Auditorium. Selections included An Irish Rhapsody, Sea Songs, Solas Ane, music from Sweeney Todd, Stairway to Heaven, and more.
