    Saturday June 8, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m.
    Military Park

We must keep our booth occupied for the duration of the festival (noon - 8 pm). Please sign up to work a booth shift or two by completing this survey.

Here is where our booth (K12) is located:

Not sure how to "work" a booth shift?

It's easy! All you need is a smiling face and willingness to chat with strangers about how the band works and the things you love the most about being in Pride of Indy Bands. Thank you in advance for volunteering your time to help recruit new members!

Here are some suggested talking points:

    • When someone approaches the table, smile and say hello. Ask if they’ve heard of our band before.

    • If they say yes, ask where/how and chat with them about it. If they say no, briefly tell them about us.

      • Pride of Indy Bands is a non-profit community band comprised of musicians of all skill level and all lifestyles. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and fun environment to make music together.

    • Next, ask if they play an instrument or know someone who does.

      • If they say no, let them know that we have multiple performances throughout the year that we would love to have their support at, such as our upcoming Garfield Park concert on August 2nd. Thank them for stopping at the booth & wish them a happy Pride Day!

    • If they say yes ( they play an instrument or know someone who does), ask what instrument and if they’re in a band.

      • If they’re in a band, ask what band & chat with them about it. If they play an instrument and someone nearby from our band also plays that instrument, introduce them.

    • Ask if they, or the musician they know, might be interested in joining our band.

    • If they/the person they know isn’t interested in joining our band, let them know that we have multiple performances throughout the year that we would love to have their support at, such as our upcoming Garfield Park concert on August 2nd. Thank them for stopping at the booth & wish them a Happy Pride Day!

    • If they are or might be interested in joining our band, tell them about our upcoming social at Garfield Park on Sunday July 1. Remind them they can find more details + our rehearsal schedule on the calendar on our website.
